 How It Works

Our clients can initiate ACH transactions in any of several ways, depending on their business needs.
A brief overview:

Virtual Terminal: Most of our smaller merchants use a web based program that allows them to initiate transactions, track progress, pull reports, and more.
Features include:
  • Enter transactions one at a time.
    (For occasional credit or debits.)
  • Set up recurring payment plans. Client enters routing and account numbers, clicks to schedule payments. The system will then generate future payments.
  • Import a file. Some clients prefer to track payments in their own systems. If they can produce a simple comma delimited file, or an excel spreadsheet, they can upload that into their account. They can also import NACHA-formatted files.
  • Scan checks into a file. (Then import the file.) For converting paper checks into electronic checks.
  • Web-based transactions with Pay By Check Link.
  • Payroll. A separate section of the program makes it convenient for clients to process payroll transactions.
  • Reports. Our terminal has lots of reports, and all can be downloaded and read into other systems.

Automated File Uploader: Clients with more technical ability can store transactions in their own database and create an automated daily process to send the transactions to our back end, eliminating the need for any manual intervention.

Web Service: Web clients can send transactions one at a time through a web service. These clients can also access various screening databases, including a check verification program.

Point of Sale: Using a check scanner, merchants can scan paper checks and convert them into electronic checks.
